Welcome to Valhalla

Welcome to Valhalla. The Allfather greets you and wishes you well.

I am a father.

I am a Christian.

I have had much taken from me that I did not wish to give, but I’ve been given more.

I have been blessed beyond measure, and infinitely more than I deserve.

In the non-virtual world, I reside in Helheim (East Texas) and work as a teacher educator. (I teach teachers.) I have owned and operated a tang soo do and hapkido dojang. I have been a librarian. I have been a lifeguard.

I am an avid reader of fiction and occasionally history. If it is lying around, sooner or later, I will read it.

  1. And you’re a volunteer contributor to The Nifty Tech Blog.

Dude, you need to update this page. It hasn’t changed in months, but you’ve had some significant life events.

  2. Dear Odin of Valhalla (if I may be so presumptuous …)
I hope you don’t mind me contacting you and delete this comment if it breaks the rules, but I’ve been following your excellent fiction and reviews, and I’m wondering about your book review policy. Are you accepting books at the moment? I looked on your site but I couldn’t find the info.
I am the editor of “The Phantom Games”, an anthology of Fantasy and Science Fiction designed to celebrate the 2020 Olympics (or fill the hole made by their absence). It contains 33 writers from 7 different countries, 16 Fantasy and ScienceFiction stories, and 17 eye witness accounts of a world under siege.
You can contact me at the attached email address if you’re interested. Thank you for your time!

    • I am sorry I missed this at the time of your query. I will read and review any submissions. I require either an ePub or a physical copy for which I can supply a mailing address if needed.
